About the Coach: Head Coach Matt DiConti
Born in 1971 and raised in Simi Valley, California, Matt DiConti is the youngest of five siblings, including three sisters. He attended Hillside Junior High and is a proud 1989 graduate of Royal High School...
A Question I am often asked is...

In my opinion basketball in general is without a doubt the greatest high school team sport, and here's why: Firest and foremost the fast pace is unmatched! It's high energy with constant action. There's no standing around waiting for the play to come to you. Every moment counts, and you’re always involved. Plus,with more games than any other sport, you get more chances to compete, improve, and experience the thrill of victory.
Last, and certainly not least. you never have to battle the weather. No sweltering heat. No freezing rain. Its just a battle between your team and your opponents. So if high energy, high volume and team work interests you and you are Interested in trying out for the 2025/26 season? let us know.
